Chelsea, let’s talk about the future!
March, 2010
A picture is worth a thousand words
You are invited to participate in a charrette, a design workshop, for the heart of Chelsea village.
During the past several months, Chelsea citizens have expressed in words their ideas of their future vision of the heart of their village, most notably at the Citizens’ Forum held last February 27, 2010.
Now we invite you to transform these ideas into pictures this coming March 27, 2010.
Briefly, a charrette is a workshop during which participants are invited to roll up their sleeves and take the place of professionals to explain their hopes and visions for this area of Chelsea in a graphic way, by using designs, maps, illustrations and short bits of text.
When: Saturday, March 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: École du Grand-Boisé, 135 Scott Road, Chelsea
A light lunch will be served.
Since the number of places is limited to 60 people, we ask that you register by Friday, March 19, 2010. Please limit your participation to one person per household or business.
You can register by sending an email to charrettevisionchelsea@hotmail.com.
When registering, please provide your family name and first name, your email address and your telephone number. Please also indicate your preference for the language in which you would like to work at the charrette (English, French or bilingual).
We are looking forward to working together on the Chelsea of tomorrow.
